The first trial scheduled in the Arab Bank litigation encompassed 24 attacks, which the Plaintiffs alleged, and the jury found, were committed by the Foreign Terrorist Organization, Hamas. In addressing Arab Bank’s post-trial motions, the Court affirmed Hamas responsibility for the first 22 attacks below, but ruled that Plaintiffs had not adduced sufficient evidence to establish Hamas responsibility for the last 2 attacks (Bus 19 and Neve Dekalim). The Plaintiffs asked the Court to reconsider its ruling regarding Bus 19, but the case settled before the Court issued a ruling on Plaintiffs’ motion.
